Home-Logo1@1xFoundation Training is a system of integrated movement exercises designed by D. Eric Goodman, chiropractor alleviate and even eliminate back pain. The exercises re-awaken correct movement patterns in the body by re-synchronizing the posterior chain (back body) muscles. Over time and misuse, thru our modern sedentary life style, our muscles lose the ability to work as a team. As a result, we use the wrong muscles for the wrong tasks leading to injury and chronic pain. The goal of Foundation Training is to teach your posterior chain musclesto work as they were intended-as a team of muscles, each with a specific role within the group to support the weight of your upper body in motion and while bearing weight.

The main components of Foundation Training are anchoring and decompression.Decompression Breathing teaches you to use the core muscles – front and back together- to lift and support the weight of he upper body thru use of the breath to decompress the spine, taking pressure off the vertebrae and creating more space between the disks to alleviating pain. Anchoring engages the leg and hip muscles to stabilize the pelvis to provide a stable platform to decompress the spine thru decompression breathing.
